I fell in love with photography at fifteen years old, and in 2013 graduated from Brooks Institute with a Bachelor of Science in Visual Journalism. While in school, some unique opportunities crossed my path. Namely, I interned for ESPN to photograph the X Games, I interned for Quiksilver in the photo studio, and did a video editing internship with DC Shoes. Near the end of school, I was accepted into the twenty-sixth annual Eddie Adams Workshop in New York. Before moving back to my home state of Oregon, I did another internship with Monster Children, assisted Tobin Yelland in his film archive, and began teaching photography at a private high school called The Halstrom Academy.
Upon moving to Portland I started assisting architecture and interior photographer David Papazian, taught photography classes for Saturday Academy, and began making the drive to Beaverton to do photo retouching for Nike.
Currently, I hold a photographer position at Linden Collective where I get to fly the country photographing Adidas athletes, and do the occasional freelance gig on the side. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
