I borrowed my mom's point-and-shoot Canon Powershot for an afternoon at the Oregon coast when I was fifteen years old. By the end of high school I knew what I wanted to pursue, and by 2013 I graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography. While in school, I did internships with ESPN, Quiksilver, DC Shoes, and Monster Children Magazine, and I was accepted into the twenty-sixth Eddie Adams Workshop in New York.
After six years in California, I moved back to my home state of Oregon. I assisted architecture photographer David Papazian, taught photography classes for Saturday Academy, and did photo retouching at Nike. Then, from 2018 to 2021, I held the sole staff photographer position at the advertising agency Linden Collective, for whom I got to fly the country photographing Adidas athletes.
Currently, I am a freelance photographer based in Portland. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
